About Us
HÅKAN Chocolatier is a recently established chocolatier in Beacon New York’s historic district. While a young enterprise, our Master Chocolatier, Håkan Mårtensson, is anything but new to his craft. Starting out as an apprentice himself in his native Sweden, Håkan rapidly excelled and at the age of 22 was recruited by the Swedish National Culinary Team. After competing, and bringing home many gold medals Håkan decided it was time to discover a new part of the world and moved to New York City. For the next dozen years Håkan further refined his craft as the Chocolatier for the FIKA group.
Ready for his next adventure, Håkan pulled up stakes from NYC and moved 65 miles north to the beautiful Hudson Valley town of Beacon where he now not only makes his delectable chocolates but also bakes, and serves amazing espresso based coffee drinks in his speakeasy shop.
Success has followed Håkan and now he is searching for Superstar Colleagues!
